Prince William “More Upset Than He Admits” Over Feud with Prince Harry – But Refuses to Back Down
Prince William is ‘more upset that he admits’ over his fall-out with younger brother Prince Harry – but he won’t back down now, according to a royal expert.
While the royal siblings were once very close, their estrangement has grown to such an extent that many believe a reconciliation is unlikely to ever take place. William is said to be greatly angered over Harry’s attacks on the royal family – in the now-infamous Oprah interview, his Netflix show, and Spare – and has decided to cut ties in order to focus on his family and his royal duties, according to reports.
“William is sensitive, he likes structure and has perseverance. He does not give up easily. His relationship with brother Harry upset him more than he would care to admit. But he found it easier to cut ties rather than allow himself to be continually annoyed. His life with Kate gives him the security, love and friendship he needs.”
It echoes comments made by renowned former Royal correspondent Charles Rae, who recently said on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show: “Well, I think it is down to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to make the first move. Whether or not it would be accepted by William and Catherine, I doubt very much it would be.
“There’s too much water which has gone under that bridge. After everything Harry and Meghan have done with the Oprah Winfrey interview, that Netflix show. Spare. The flamboyant curtsey by Meghan on the show as well.
“There’s too much gone under the bridge now. If they’re going to make the move, I am not so sure William and Catherine would respond favourably.” The Prince is thought to have been especially upset about Harry and Meghan talking about his wife, Princess Kate
